Yes, of course. But what I am saying is that the Democrats, in general, do not show that pattern of behavior, whereas the Republicans do, and overwhelmingly so.

Of course, the adultery is not the issue, perjury and obstruction are, so even the Republicans would not be hypocrites as regards their condemnation of the President's actions.

Yes, they are. Anybody who claims to be a defender of "moral values" is expected to always tell the truth, regardless of whether they are under oath or not. And clearly, the Republicans have repeatedly lied. To the people.

We also disagree here. You are perfectly entitled to feel that adultery is wrong, and that therefore the President's adultery is wrong. You may feel it is not appropriate to hate him for it or to ask for some punishment, but that's a different issue. It is up to his wife to decide what her actions should be, but her feelings should in no way influence yours.

Well, even if she had chosen to divorce him, I still would have no opinion as to whether he did right or wrong when he had an affair.
