Carl Mehr:

<<I suggest that you sell Intel short. Today should be a good time, as Intel is up a couple of points.>>

Why short Intel where you could go long on AMD? AMD success doesn't mean Intel demise. When you are shorting Intel you are playing with dynamite. There is a big market for both to coexist. Hopefully Intel can help their shareholders to keep it that way and don't spoil it.

Carl,

Keep watching for next few months and you will intel's dominance vanish.

You must understand that most of the major OEMS dislike Intel. Folks like HP, Compaq and IBM are really going to push AMD as their products become more and more competitive.

The last nail will be when Gateway and Dell fold. When they introduce AMD parts will be the signal to short Intel.

Regards,

Kash
