I agree with you 100% in that a TV web interface will not supplant workers that use computers for a living - probably most of us here. But TV will be used for browsing - you'll have a simple keyboard which will allow you to type out messages if you so choose. However, probaby more likely you'll have a TV-like device in every room which will serve as your "information center" which will include a telephone or some sort of audio interoperability as well. So, when most of you think of a traditional TV..this is not what I'm considering. I'm considering a device which does much more...Yes, it can be used as a TV, a VERY simple PC, a phone, etc.. These devices will run about $200 and will be user configurable single PC board designs.
