BBBY, PRGS, KBH, SLR, COMS,CS, GPSI,LEH, NKE,PAYX,BEAV,INTV, SRR,MU, MUEI, BBY,and IDTC best of show Very few did not make it.. COMS and CS although petered out after earnings were clearly 'winners' in pre-earnings run-up... DATE Open High Low Close Volume 09/21/98 18.750 19.750 17.500 19.250 233,100 09/22/98 19.250 22.750 19.250 22.375 649,500 09/23/98 22.750 24.375 22.625 24.187 526,400 09/24/98 now trading at 27 1/2... up 9 points since Monday.. exchange2000.com Earnings out on the 25th.. In our newsletter. When I say up on anticipation this is what I mean. I DON'T mean that all the stocks will be up or they will 'beat the street'. No one can predict that. What I can do is choose the best companies that start to break out with increased volume and price..as BBBY, PRGS, KBH, SLR, NKE,PAYX,BEAV,INTV, SRR,MU, MUEI. Some never made it as buys: CTAS, CARY, ABTE.. A lot of earnings plays were excellent performers this week and even with the market down they outshined.
