You are correct here.

He is wrong. ViaVoice from IBM is optimized for 3DNOW! ViaVoice runs faster on the K6-2 than a PentiumII.

IBM will ship Aptivas with 350 MHz K6-2s, 350 MHz Pentium IIs and 400 MHz Pentium IIs with speech recognition.

They will ship a $899 Aptiva with a 333 MHz K6-2 WITHOUT speech recognition.
