I was definitely watching Cien and like I said, as soon as I read the earlier post about GSCO buying I looked and seldom saw them for the rest of the day. I admit there was strong buying at the end and ISLD and INCA were getting out, but GSCO did not stand out at all. Just what I saw....

Doug

PS...I hope you are right though about a big gap open tomorrow.

frank, level II does not guarantee that what GSCO is buying, it isn't selling on INCA. There have been times when these guys are recommending a stock and buying them on Level II, but on INCA -- where their identities are not readily apparent -- they are selling.

Doug,
the guy on Yahoo who posted about GSCO is me. I do believe my eyes are in perfect working condition. It is exactly as i stated. I have been watching it like a hawk. Please re-confirm that you have not made an error. I saw GSCO bidding @ 14 13/16 while at times the bid to ask ratio reached 10 X 130, GSCO kept on bidding. Soon after MLCO joined in, they did not stay long, but then GSCO moved to 14 7/8 and started taking all the sellers, hence the price went to 15 briefly, then INCA bidding and selling, transferred all bids to sells, and drove it down to 14 13/16, where they could not beat out GSCO, because GSCO was taking all that the sellers could give them. I also checked the ticker for time and sales, and you will see I posted accurately. Something is brewing here.

Dear frank, after last nights news, you might get your 13.00. Thanks again for the post yesterday AM, only wish I'd been here to take advantage...DD

Appears to be a bit early for a merger,IMO nothing will happen until earnings are out, and then?(would be a PR disaster for LU at this point,to show interest, IMO..still tainted goods)...later...
