Gary,

Any speed CD should work. It will just effect speed. BTW: You can load all the CD data to your HD by selecting all symbols and transfereing them to the predefined watch list " Hard Drive Charts".

edit: Gary post your config.sys and autoexec.bat and lets see if you are loading a dos driver by chance.
