Well Monty... Good thing I did a bup.. I loaded the mutuals in the buffer and it seemed to go well until I ran Metastock. Whenever I double clicked any symbol (mutual fund or stock) it would lock up my machine. Even a 3 finger salute wouldn't restart the machine so the power button was the solution. I obviously did something wrong 'cause when I decided to delete everything and restore from the backup the machine hung again when I deleted the META directory. I've got everything back and working the way it was and I'll call QP next week and have them hold my hand and get me up to speed with the mutuals.. Dale
