Even worse we are creating sportsidioten...there is an absurd overemphasis on sports and $200 tennis shoes. I go down in favor of 11 month school years, and child labor, safe work of course. A broad education is important to tie the concepts all together. It is unfortunate we can't seem to pay the teachers enough to keep them from leaving for the private enterprise sector.
