Any investor who was going to bail because of the fear created by the BestBank failure is now gone. This in my opinion leaves us with very little risk as shareholders of CLCK.

If you read the last post then you know I spoke with Ken Klotz tonight. I asked about the BestBank situation and how those accounts would be eventually moved to other banks. Apparently the FDIC is enjoying the opportunity to handle these accounts. Ken said that they were in no hurry at all to move the credit card portfolio. That is to say the FDIC has not had the opportunity to handle a bank failure in a long time and they seem to be enjoying working with Columbia Capital and learning the business. So it may be a while before the FDIC moves the credit card portfolio but Ken said they certainly do pay on time.

Anyway, the bottom line is that the separate debit card portfolios will be moved to several banks. Announcements of this nature could happen at any point in time. CLCK has hardly been sitting still for the last month. We will get more good news. Hopefully it will be very soon.
