Never get greedy on stocks.

My suggestion is, when you sell stocks, use the profit to buy a few calls if you are afraid of profits being slipping away.

In this case, when you sold CMGI at 49, you can buy a few CMGI Oct 50 calls. If the stocks goes up, like in today's case, you still make almost the same amount of profit.

However, if CMGI drops to 30, you would wish that you had sold at 49.
And you only lose a few premiums.
