Vince,,jims' not interested in options,,,but I am, especially in cost albeit I am a novice,,I've been trying to find a site that shows trading history on the net for unexpired eq options, even emailed cboe today about that,,I've always been perplexed over the issue of option buyer/seller/marketmaker,,,it seems to me the only way one might know is to be at the trading post in Chicago,,,or wherever else floortrading happens,,if any threaders out there can help us please speak up,,,,

I have to admit I don't follow the options and what they portend but given the high volume today and the drop in the price what do you think the whole thing means?

Its getting to the point that I don't feel comfortable with an unabashed wild guess as to what anything means given the volatility we are seeing in this market. The slightest provocation sends the market swinging in all directions from one day to the next - and then there are the internet stocks...whew!.... crazy.
I am just going to tie a knot in the rope and hold on and mean while if somebody can es-splain it to me that would be nice too.
