Gary:

Instead of a hardware upgrade, perhaps all you need to do is upgrade the driver to WIN95/98. You might want to check on the CD ROM mfg. site for driver upgrades.

Gary,
I got the "an error occurred during the move data process:-113" a couple of times with my 32x Toshiba.
Might be possible to copy the CD to your HD and install from there.

Bob

A 16-bit driver driver is a software issue rather than hardware. The actual CD-Rom drive may be fine.

You may have an old driver loaded in the Config.sys file instead of a 32 bit driver from Windows 95. (You are running Windows 95, right?)

If those terms are unfamiliar to you, I hesitate on trying to describe how to make changes, as a mistake would leave your CD inoperable.

Edit. Bob J.'s suggestion sounds good, if you have enough space on the hard drive.
