HiSpeed,

Untill I see a break of 8700 range, I will not be convinced that the correction is over.

Its not that Im convinced either that we will set lower lows either. For now I still feel we are just in a trading range which could be expanding or shifting a little.

Subjectively, we still have the negative seasonality of OCT in front of us. I am positive that we will have a pullback in OCT, and strongly feel it will be at least 50% of the current rebound, if the market does not retest the lows of 7500-7400. Also a pullback will occur in OCT definitely even if GREENSPAN reduces rates, it just may not be as great as many BEARS thought.

I realise that many are turning bullish, and with that the bubble may reappear. That RUBBERBAND/GUITAR STRING thing of mine.

For the short-term, I strongly feel that the upside will be limited to the 8350 resistance line or the 200 DMA at best. Wait for the pullback to occur first, wherever it ends before initiating long positions unless one is only playing for a small move.
