Shorts who were lucky enough to get in above 120 and are faced with the choice of

A) Wait until their profits turn into losses.
B) Cover the short.

I choose to hold my short position until hell freezes over, if need be. In 4 years Amazon will either be bought out or bankrupt. There really isnt any other extrapolation I can find in their business plan. But then again, in the hi-tech industry it only takes 2-3 years to sucker the public and retire in the Bahamas, which gives insiders a margin of 1-2 year to get out of dodge with the cash.

Who are they squeezing now??

They are squeezing the 7.4million shares that are short!
Let me tell you; this time it will be worse! There are many people out there who missed out on the 1st and 2nd 'net craze.
They are sure to try to catch some upside points this time.
Besides, if AMZN hits a New High, all bets are off. In fact, I cant rule out $170...yes! $170.
Who knows where a mania will end? The estimate for AOL now is $140. And when a 'net stock rises, they all rise...something about a rising tide...
The only thing we know for sure is...it will all end badly again!
History repeats itself.
