Several problems. Placed a sell limit order above the bid/ask and then canceled. Market moved up 30 minutes later and I was filled as it went past. They told me the order was filled before my cancel was put in. It hadn't been at the fill level for an hour before and 30 minutes after the cancel. This on Tues in a very thinly traded stock on a slow day.

A limit order between the bid/ask has not shown up several times in the last few days, verified by my real time and a phone call.

Yes, had problems yesterday with bids not showing up.

I put a bid in higher that current bid and it did not show up.

Sometimes, I replace the order with the same on and it shows up. This did not work yesterday though.

When you ask Waterhouse, they say the marketmaker does not have to represent your bid or offer. Nonsense.

Today, my bid got represented and order confirmed with real time log.

When this happens you need to call them and keep on them until they put the order through. Sometimes you need to call direct to NYC and stay on the phone until you get the answer you want. ps. take names

You'll love this one.

Waterhouse called me today to tell me that I had a "as of" trade from 9/22 (Today is 9/24) The order at bid which would not be represented was bought. The market maker checked his logs and saw that the trade went off. Even stranger was that the price was lower than I had been trying to buy stock. The rep. said they had had several calls about orders not being represented that day. My advice, call immidiately when this happens again.
