I am a lurker here, almost never post and am actually glad that you were long on AMZN
today. I would NEVER take joy on witnessing someone elses demise, but I'll have to say,
reading SO MANY damned posts of you and alot of others here proclaiming that "This is
the day" and "AMZN 20 by the end of this week" kind of attitude has GOT to stop.

Franz,

I do not recall that I ever posted that AMZN would be 20 by the end of the month. I am mostly a fundmental investor and often have talked about AMZN's business model. I am inclined to be short AMZN although learned going long was wise at times prior to losing my shirt.TA is far from my specialty and I have a terrible time guessing the moves of AMZN. I do trade it a lot and with the help of others on this thread, have improved. I also learned that AMZN will appreciate siginificantly due to technical factors when shares to short are unavailable. That was my reasonging for going long yesterday. I was short today but not all my shares. I was a bit uncertain.

I
have been BOTH long and short on AMZN and ENTIRELY and wholeheartedly agree
that AMZN is headed for the toilet someday, Someday sooner than later actually. The
next (serious) market downturn we see I too will be short, but this prediction thing,
gimmie a break. AMZN is a turd stock....you know it and I know it...ride the wave and
you will be rewarded. I apologize for singleing you out...I haven't been able to read
EVERY post here and probably shoulden't have opened my mouth unless I had.

Reading every post on every thread is impossible. Even on the threads in which one has a position. I just was not around the computer much yesterday so almost made no posts. I admit to being very vocal about my feeling that the AMZN business model will not work. I have not made much in price predicitions e3xcept one day about two months ago and I was perfect about the close just by luck. It sure was not skill<G>

As for how I did today...I started my long position on CMGI back a few weeks ago in the
38 to 40 range....today I traded my measley 4000 shares back and fourth no less than 9
times before going long in the last few minutes of trading. Percentage wise I don't think I
did too bad.

I wish you the best and nothing less...long or short....

I wish you the best too. This is not an easy game at which to win but it is facinating and can be rewarding. I hope you did well today too.

Glenn
