Actually I wouldn't be surprised to see the government assist MU as they did Chrysler. We really don't need three auto makers for strategic purposes, but DRAM is a key component in all that we do, including military functions. It is true that MU is not the only domestic DRAM maker left as IBM still makes some, but MU is the only sizeable one. I don't think a government bailout is imminent or even necessary, but I think if it came to that it would happen.
