It is obvious regardless of what politicians say that if we help bail out a multi millionaire like Meriweather that we obviously bail out emerging countries for the banks too, not the countries. I marvel at how they always say we do this as an act of goodwill for a trading partner (ie Mexico a few yrs back). The banks were just ignorant and had billions at stake.
