Yep, it's coming.

I remember the first Christmas Card with the family picture on it we ever got. It was talked about in our house for weeks. Nowadays they're so routine we toss them almost automatically. With Gen-X parents, weaned on technology, coming up with their one or two totally spoiled children families, they will be unable to resist putting Little Tommy and Cathy on CD Rom in the sure and certain knowledge that EVERYBODY just CRAVES the chance to see them perform. (I have one relative I guarantee you would be doing this is they had young kids instead of grown. I can't wait (ha ha) for the grandkids to come along and give the a fresh chance.)

Worldwide PC shipments will rebound to grow 13.2 percent in 1999, spurred by strong demand for lower-cost machines, a market research firm forecast yesterday.
