Mike, Re: "I haven't used that site enough to know if they have any better idea than anyone else."

My own whisper number is a much better idea, Mike. In fact it is more than Kurlack's reported .80.
but I whisper so low that no one can hear me.

At any rate, Intel announced that revs would be up and increased the dividend. Both are pretty good omens and good earnings will not be a big surprise. So what is my number? More that .80.

Herb

Mike, Re: "Any feeling for the validity of this site?
earningswhispers.com;

That Intel earnings whisper number sounds a tad low to me. But how about this one!!!!!!!??????????

earningswhispers.com

Afraid that site may be wacko. Co-sponsored by theglobe.com, huh. The founders of the Boston Globe must be rolling over in their graves.

Mike re:They have Intel at .78 consensus and .79 whisper. I haven't used that site enough to know if they have any better idea than anyone else.

That seems consistent with other sources I've seen.
