Big Bucks, I went to an analyst's presentation at DiskCon today.
Todd Bakar was there among others. The DD business looks just as dreary as semi equips, if not worse. In addition to over capacity, they also have no pricing power. The pipeline is almost clear now. Waiting for demand drivers (killer apps). PC growth still over 10%.
Several companies (unnamed) verge on extinction according to John
Bronkhorst of ML. The storage market IS growing, but consolidation
unlikely.
