Darn, doesn't look like they will be getting it then, will they ;o) ?? If I remember correctly, wasn't CSCO on their list of stocks to own for the year 2000? Yep, I think they were....

CSCO target price by WSJ Smart Money is 46$, which is very likely; if one looks back csco has no significant large contracts since beginning of this month, but during the same time ASND, FORE and COMS had been getting large contracts; imo, csco is now being squeezed from their sector competitons, imo, if mkt condition is normal csco target is 51-55$ and if mkt is bad 45-50$, which in fact is in the range from SMARTMONEY magazine.

The same issue of SmartMoney has a list of recommendations for stocks to buy now in this shaky market. One of them is an Israeli computer company (I'm blanking on the name at the moment) which yesterday closed at 29 or 30, and was down 15 points today.

Also, their price targets for CSCO, INTC, etc were in the event of a major selloff, not an estimate of where they thought the stock should or would be.

Nice try to use an actual reference to bash CSCO, but you even used THAT incorrectly.
