Last month a partial merger was completed with another local flat rate provider in British Columbia, Dial & Save Plus. Initially, MetroPLUS Communications added about 850 clients and approximately $6,500.00 in monthly revenue with the remaining addition of approximately 400 clients and another $3,000.00 monthly revenue in the final stages of negotiations. MetroPLUS Communications is also pleased to announce they are in the final negotiation stage with yet another local flat rate provider, Extel Communications. This merger will bring another 1300 customers and about $13,000 increase in monthly revenue. With the latest acquisitions, we will also realize the marketing and consulting expertise of Dial & Save as well as Extel. One of our first ventures will cultivate the revenue potential of reselling long distance by the lease cost routing through our own switches. We intend to use our existing client database to initially market this venture with future plans to market the lower mainland. Plans to add Victoria to our calling area are on schedule and should be in place mid October. With this wider calling area and increased customer database, we are also aggressively changing our pricing schedule to be competitive in this market along with the other long distance carriers while providing quality service at minimal cost. We intend to be in the forefront with numerous marketing potentials and will update our progress in the near future.
