Have you given consideration to the debacle going on at th 80 Billion dollar Long Term Capital.

Dont you think that GS may reduce interest rates by 0.5 to give LTC breathing room. Afgter all its one of its fellow bankign institutions with powerful international people involved who could lose billions from the derivative trading of LTC

To anyone,

I have no idea what this LTC invested in. Being a hedge fund, what were they hedging and could it have been the primary reason for yesterday's 200+ point DOW gain, while the market gave Greenspeak credit?
