What happened! You disappeared suddenly. Hope all is fine with you.

Believe it or Not

1: Fatwa against Rushdie was officially lifted by Iranian Government.
2: Paula Jones drops the demand on Clinton for an apology.
3: India and pakistan are in a hurry to sign CTBT. You know why. They want sanctions lifted. Guess what. Jesse Helms, An ardent India Lover, Chairman, the head honcho, the top Banana, Numero Uno, and at the helm of the foreign Relations Committee along with Trent LOTT(O) of Mississippi (too many Ss, Ps and Is) and Jon KYLe(r) of Aridzona ( Arizona, where the land is called "ARID ZONE" and thus named ARIZONA)oppose lifting sanctions, because they are in a punishing mode.
The PARADOX: CTBT is on HOLD in Congress. Double standards.

4: The elite firm Long-Term Capital Management LP starring Nobel Laureates and Industry stalwarts goes belly up and was saved by Federal Reserve and a consortium of banks and brokerage firms.
Hey: If you and I go BELLY-UP, can we look for help from the Federal Reserve and the banks and brokerage houses. Think of Chrysler from the past.

5:A brain-dead person's hand was donated to another whose hand was lost in an accident in France
