Thanks for the advice Tim. I chickened out today and lightened my load on this one by 50%. It seems most of the old-timers are now out of this one - you, Glenn, Korn, et al. Seems to me that no buyout will/can be announced before the end of October if then. Lucent has to "paper" a transaction with a date of meetings trail to satisfy the feds. This will take many weeks. Plus, in the mean time, maybe one of the banks will go down. My sources have told me several of the second tier banks were close to insolvency yesterday, hence the testimony of Alan and hence today's bailout of the hedge fund. My sources also tell me Alan will cut only by 25 bps since he doesn't want the stock mkt to rise on the news.
