G'day all - dear David, it is interesting [and innovative] to juxapose the Greenspeak <G> with the LTCP debacle; however, based on what you have quoted, I am not sure Chairman Al was talking about rocket science spread harvesting [as other hedgies stiffed, "this is not hedging!"] Rather, I tend to interpret [Paul is right, we all listen to Greenspeak with our own surround sound headphones!] that he is merely pointing out the domino effect of the global financial markets - and maybe an unintentional [or intentional] left hook against the man we love to hate in this thread, tbe Mad Hatter, who has chosen the course of closing the financial border. best, Bosco
