Daily to weekly trend prediction is hard and kudos to those that can do say 55% -- it is very difficult to be accurate enough to make money. One good call doesn't impress me here. Predicting in the 3 month to 1 year range is more of a money maker because often the moves are considerably larger. Predicting huge market turns is really difficult, but recognizing them once they have occurred and getting on the right side can still make one money. I think we made a major turn in July and can't abandon that view just yet.
