Dave,

I'll read up some so I don't confuse solaris and nt.

I take it the # you are reffering to is the Commit Charge K (Total) under Task manager. Is this # your seeing less than or greater than the amount of current installed physical memory.

If this # contines to grow past the amount of physical memory in your box than this would indicate a leak. If that # is less than the total physical memory then don't worry about it. Its just the way the garbage collector is behaving.

So if the # is growing and grows larger than physical memory over time then you definteley have a leak. If you shutdown all interactive applications and it continues then one of your services is the likely culprit. enough for now.
