Bill, What I found most interesting about the article was this line: LTCM chief executive officer John Meriwether said he is ''confident (this) will stabilize our funds and enable us to continue to be active in the marketplace.'' Wait a second, hello!! What exactly is this deal, I am all for stabilization but I don't want our FED taking the risk out of the market, I mean I had some losses in oil stocks earlier this year and sure could have used some propping up! Does anyone know whether this deal allows LTCM to double up and try to win it all back?
