September 24, 1:39 pm Eastern Time(Nasdaq: CYPH ) announced today that Patent claims for anti-sense technology developed by Dr. Donald Gray at University of Texas at Dallas were approved. Cytoclonal has exclusive worldwide rights to the technology.

Anti-sense technology is designed to regulate genes involved in different diseases. For example, if a cancer related gene is involved in the cancer state, an anti-sense reagent could be utilized to turn the cancer gene off and prevent cancer cells from proliferating. An anti-sense reagent is a synthetic gene fragment which binds to the gene and thereby regulates it.

This looks like the news Big Dog was touting for CYGS HA HA

This really is a breathrough in this industry of cancer fighting drugs. I got interested in it because of the hype on CYGS, the technology of antisense is sound and now patented delivery. Good news for cancer patients.
