I guess this is similar to what Raptech is saying and no arguments there. The logic of what you're saying largely depends on how much control the specialist is exercising - the more control he has the more likely your observation of his behavior, and therefore of the stock, is accurate. Yes, if I accept the basic premise the rest follows. I'm not sure I have followed you following the specialist long enough (I'm all of 3 weeks old on SI) to make an informed decision about accepting the underlying premise. But thanks for the observation about specialists and patterns. If they have a very high degree of control technicals take on a different meaning. I never looked at it that way before.

I agree, however, that analyst projections are on the conservative side.
