Frank,

I'm running JavaTrader. It doesn't have all the quick macros/features of KK, but it will very soon, they say (as well as options). And I really like it. The interface is clean, compact, runs fast and seemingly bug free. I come from having tried many of the online brokers and settled with Datek, who is still my choice for most investors, especially when new Nasdaq rules (NODES) kick in and ECNs are essentially SOESable.

In addition to Javatrader, I'm usually running DBC's StockEdge (Level II also, news, alerts, etc.), about 6-10 IE windows, Outlook Express, ICQ, and often IRC. I run this combination under W98 at home and NT4.0 at work. Both machines are essentially P200 with 64Mb. One has a cable modem, the other a wireless modem running at about 33.6k. I have very few crashes - none yet that I can attribute to JT. Actually, as I think about it, I haven't rebooted or killed a process on my work computer running NT in weeks. So much better than those Windows 3.1 days...

Hope that helps some,
Marc
