Therein lies the greatest risk for this current market. Now Greenspan has spoken and used up his silver bullet of lower short term rate, if the current problems - typified by this Long Term Capital collapse - don't seem to get solved we are in a real pickle. Just look at the slaughter going on in financial stocks. we may be in for a sharp downturn as the bear market resumes after this 3 week correction.

Of course, as a badly gored AMZN bear in ICU, some hope is mixed in this analysis.

We may get a key TA reversal - shooting star candlestick formation on both NZMA and the inet index today. If so, this will come a day earlier than I thought it might. I expected more of a response to the eBay IPO - but I guess a lot of the effect will be "buy on the rumor, sell on the news".

I'm doing some things with XCIT and am looking at other inets. My hedge on shorting the inets is to be long on some beaten down stocks like WNI and CBTSY.
