I've read this, and it seems a remarkably accurate portrayal of our stock up to about a week ago. But that was a week ago....

Remember these?
When the market goes down, 3dfx goes down.
When the market goes up, 3dfx goes down.
When the market goes sideways, 3dfx goes down.

No PR announcements, And then the doom and gloom forecast of a money losing financial quarter...

Well, now, it seems more like
When the market goes down, 3dfx goes up.
When the market goes up, 3dfx goes up.
When the market goes sideways, 3dfx goes up.
Some nice PR announcements including that little Lawsuit bombshell,

Go figure... and no, I'm not complaining.

3DFX CLASS ACTION SHAREHOLDER LAWSUIT!!

Briefing.com: "We suspect that the company had been quietly lowering expectations to analysts prior to this actual announcement, while balancing it with encouraging news on the Sega lawsuit."

I'm pro 3DFX but if this is true then they owe me a hell of a lot of money based on their deception and omission. (I won't hold my breath)

Remember when we were all speculating as to why insiders were selling when the stock was in the $20's?
Remember when we were all speculating that there had to be something they weren't telling us?
Remember when we all thought the analysts were fools for predicting 3DFX shortfalls in the 3rd quarter? (And yes they nailed it down to the 3rd quarter shortly after the 1st qtrs 50 cent blowout!)
Remember the little to no PR debate we have had complaining about 3DFX silence about everything including their stock price.

If they were whispering to analysts and deliberately not informing their shareholders, I'd call this unethical, immoral and I hope illegal!

If true 3DFX management IMO would rate below nVidea.
