Wren, You may find it amazing, but I agree with you to a large degree. As I see it, since we are in agreement that he does a bit of cheerleading, and may not keep us up to date as much as possible, I tend to compensate for both of those. Maybe it's because I'm a contrarian/pessimist at heart, but even with JD's recommendation, I check everything out to my own satisfaction before investing. That's the main reason I never bought into CPPKY. I also had seen the local SME wallow while a Target store (Dayton Hudson) packed them in, so avoided that trap. As far as following the companies... If I can't get good consistent data on them, it's too much of a crapshoot for me. I'll stick with some of the more well known US or European stocks, of which JD has plenty. DWB
