Tip, It is a great day when not only Long Term Capital and UBS take a hickey (not Fred), but Harvard decimates their endowment fund. Remember all those stupid Barron's stories about how smart Harvard's investment crew was. -g- They weren't smart, they were taking big risks and got lucky for a while. There is certainly nothing wrong with lucky, except that Lady Luck will turn on you like last night's chili.

I liked it on CNBS today when everyone groaned as they said Harvard would now have to raise tuition. As if any of those dimwits have kids smart enough to get into an Ivy League school. -g- If they do have kids that bright, I would want the mailman's IQ tested in their neighborhood. I don't think they are raising tuition at Bonehead U.
