Barnes and Noble just filed for their IPO after the bell!

They just announced it on CNBC a few seconds ago. Part of Amazon's rally was surely due to B&N appearing to waver on the filing last week- people assumed they would delay it indefinitely.

Combine the news of Barnes and Noble entering the fray, instability in the market in general, and all those Jungalee and Planet All shares that will CERTAINLY be dumped tomorrow, and we could see another one of Amazon's famous 20 point down in one day sessions.

I am still amazed that I have managed to time this stock as well as I have, it seems I am always 1 step ahead of catastrophic losses. So far, so good. I've got the actual 8000 shares short and 2000 put contracts all over the place from Nov 110s to Oct 60s. The octobers were practically being given away for free today, at least early in the morning.

I will admit, the manipulators are VERY good at trying to shake the shorts loose. They know exactly when it will hurt the most, and they make it hurt hard. I just tune it out and remind myself that if I do what they want, then they will take my money. If I do what they don't want, I make a killing.
