By the way, in English, a 'buck' is a male deer (in french its a Bull moose). You won't find any deer in Kap, they don't venture that far north, not enough food for them to survive.

The numbers, without looking at them in detail forebode good things ahead. However, if you look at the numbers in greater detail (notice they didn't provide 2nd quarter 98 numbers beside the 3rd quarter numbers). I would like to know what the A/P were after the 2nd quarter. $62M (US$, which is about $90M Can) is a lot of A/P. It just seems to be increasing fro quarter to quarter. $16M in inventory seems a little high.

They have $47M in A/R, what was it for the 2nd quarter. It also seems to be increasing. The analysts have a right to be 'cautious' about whether they are stuffing the channels again (and the apparent incongruities in the numbers). When you hire a person from the street a job, you don't give him the keys to the safe until they have proven trustworthy.

It will be nice to see the auditor's report (its more detailed than what we are given). It is nice to see a few positives for the company though. Actually I am glad to see that the graphics products are accounting for greater revenue, with them laying off most of the WordPerfect employees it doesn't bode well for the suite products (that's a lot of internal knowledge to lose to properly support and develop the suite tools).

They still spend $27M of there $71M in revenues on Advertising and general and sales expenses (40% of sales is very high, and more than R&D development expenses).

Ciao!
