Mr. Peter DeLancey reports
The summary trial against Boliden in the Supreme Court of
British Columbia has been rescheduled from Sept. 24 and 25
to Nov. 25 and 26, 1998.
Atna is seeking a court declaration that its joint venture right
of first refusal has been triggered and exercised in regard to
the intended sale by Boliden of its 60 per cent interest in the
Wolverine project. Atna was granted an interim injunction
preventing Boliden from selling its interest to Expatriate
Resources Ltd. pending the outcome of the summary trial. Atna
intends to aggressively pursue the development and
exploration of the Wolverine property.
A summary of the 1998 Wolf project in the Yukon will be
released when final drill assays are received. Exploration has
recently been completed on the Palmer property in Alaska;
results will be released shortly.
Atna is finalizing an option/joint venture agreement with
Energold Mining Ltd. to earn a significant interest in the San
Antonio concession in the Dominican Republic. The target is a
precious metal rich volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit.
Surface work is expected to begin shortly with a drill program
to follow in the new year.
