costco was mentioned on an Atlanta radio station as having been rated high by consumer reports magazine for home entertainment appliances. their prices and non-pushy sales personel were the most favorable aspects

bill, food for thought. if we get a credit crunch or people start to feel squeezed by a market correction or real estate correction or the economy actually does slow then costco may be of some risk. they may be get some cushion b/c they have good prices but they won't be immune.

home depot has much more exposure b/c people can easily postpone whatever they are going to do to their homes.

you are betting for a continuation of the goldilocks economy. it might happen. i don't think it will.
