Hi Lalit. Agree on the fed interest rate cut not solving this problem. It's coming far too late and the problems have become "to big to fail" ones IMHO. The risktakers are crying for welfare now. We only learn the hard way. As for gold - I believe we are seeing a fundamental turn in investor psychology. By the time the smoke clears from all this, the imagined problems associated with the gold standard will seem laughable. As usual I attach the bobby berra mantra - but what do I know - to these thoughts : - )
