Back to business.

For those interested check out www.skipstone.com/info.html.
This site has a number of good technical papers on the
IEEE 1394 bus standard. The addition of this bus within
the pc would open up the pc to higher performance applications.
This intel effort to move forward on 1394 would appear to be
complimentary with Wave concept. Additional thoughts?

regards

Why would Gerry be spending his Wave money if he knows what he claims to know. This is no way to become a millionaire (sic).

I would treat the announcement by Intel as being in competition to Wave until evidence emerges to the contrary. One could just as easily put this spin on the story: Intel has been forced to show its cards because OEM's are close to signing deals with Wave and Intel wants to scare them off. They've got an Intel point man as big chief on that committee. The whole thing smacks of ownership rather than partnership

GO Wavx!?
