I agree with the analysts @ Briefing.com. This is CMGI's business.
They are like a Venture Capital company....hence they are in the business to buy and sell companies....
Lycos should not be seen as a "one time gain" deal becuase there will be MANY MANY MANY more "Lycos companies" down the road....
For starters...Geocities.... I wonder when they start cashing in on GCTY? And as mentioned by the CEO there are several more IPOs along the way.

CNET just doesn't get it.

This kind of earning make me really nervous. I feel these investment bankers hype up the stock and sell them and that how they make money. I recently cashed in my positions of XCIT and LCOS. It is too good to hold them right now. Tomorrow will be another bad day because no one like to hold on to these stocks over the weekend.
