Reasonable P/E is difficult to determine since P/E is current but stockprice is really a function of expected long term future earnings. When times are good people expect long term earnings to be good and P/E will be high. 5 year P/E would be a better measurement. P/E is really a measure of market psychology and not necessarily earnings only.

Don, what a sarcasm but how true! Talking about blind faith and stupid herd mantality, shifting like reeds with the wind by the riverside.

Stick to your gun. You are fine. Your call on Class sell is excellent. The longs are going to get their lungs eaten out by teh bears. No cut on Tues the market tanks; a cut on Tues initiate puts or short. Lots of bad news coming within the next few weeks. Apply the roach theory to the LTC deal: if there is one, there is a million.
The Fed and the related banks are digging their own graves by bailing it out. They may steal a few breaths for now, but eventually they will choke on the air they pump.
