My understanding is that the drug Amylin is working on is a insulin stabilizer - for a condition found in Type I and some Type II diabetics. I also belive (from sources in this field) that the overall world market for this type of drug is still relatively 'small' say a couple of hundred million dollars.

If I am wrong can someone please correct me.
