Dennis -

Yes, I am back in at 15 1/2. From the information I can get my hands on, I read it as though there are 25.25 MM shares outstanding, and 5.6 MM shares float. This works out to be about 22% of the shares available for trading and 78% held privately. I hope I am not missing something here.

Goldman Sachs must have been loading up on COLM last week, prior to their buy recommendation, when the volume exceeded 500 K for several days. I can't come up with any other reason for the rapid price increase (although COLM is very attractive at these levels, if it wasn't being over shadowed by internet stocks such as EBAY and AMZN). With an EPS of 1.20 and a P/E of 13, this stock should easily move back to the mid 20's prior to the 3rd quarter earnings report (released in October I believe), IMHO. Those who bought in around April hopefully remained fully invested and are happy waiting for the price to return.

BTW - I stopped by my local G.I. Joe's sporting goods store today and noticed the large display area occupied by Columbia gear. It sure has grown in the last few years, and their products still look great. You may also want to take a look at North Face (TNFI). Hanging around an all time low of about 10. May also hold some potential (but I hope Columbia takes over their market at this point!)

Good Luck!

Craig
