Apples to oranges. The "is" remark was made by Bennett to the Court not in response to examination by a party. Both Bennett and Clinton have a duty of candor to the Court. Moreover, the duty of candor is a continuing obligation so even if Clinton missed the statement when Bennett made it (a laughable assertion) when he became aware of it, it was his duty to correct the false and misleading impression it created. I'd like to see you come out of retirement to argue that point in front of Judge Wright without a paper bag over your head. JLA
