<Institutional holdings of CIEN have increased by 5% or more. This data is generally updated in Investor monthly. Such an increase is
generally considered bullish for a stock>

a way of collecting shares cheap is by downgrading and release very low earnings; time-and-time again these no-clue analysts (may be good in collecting shares) will decrease estimates totally out-of-line and then when the company releases a better earnings later they'll right away upgrade their ratings and est. It's the game that being palyed again and again by the no-clue analysts and those that followed and sold the stocks at dirt cheap 11$ are being suckered in by these no-clue analysts-
Think about these facts:
Internet bandwidth is doubling every nine months
Existing fibers need to be upgraded to get more BW
CIEN currentlyis the only company with a complete set of products in this area
and when IP/ATM over DWDM products hit in the near future, the demand for the product as well as the stock price will sky rocket
CIEN, although appreciated some from its low is still at a bargain basement price; target price is 35-40$.
